Like El Mostro I have been casting lots of things in Alumilite ( He Beat me posting most) Today I turned the one of the Split Pea's.
I know the Photo is not sharp, I had to use the old Camera cause the new one is too Sharp and I have to figger out how to make the photos fit the file size limit. Lets see I had to use my new transfer punch set cause I left out the threads in the cap. I turned this between centers...not perfect so JonnnyCNC is getting an order.... Comment always welcome!

Since Karl was so grossed out I retook it in black velvet!

Nice looking pen Jay. As for file size limit. Download a copy of picassa 2 it's free and does one of the best jobs of resizing a photo and keeping the quality I've seen. It's a little weird you have to export the picture to a new folder and you are given the option to resize it there. It also does a nice job of cropping the photo for you.

Nice split pea pen, glad to hear some one else left the thread section of the cap, what a bear to get the center band off, hurt my hand driving the thing off
