Baron TN Gold Dyed Box Elder. At first I thought
the blank was going to look good finished, but I
think it came out ok, I call it sunny skies. I like
some of the dyed blanks when finished, their reminiscent
of some of Vincent Vango’s works. IMHO
Finnish is CA/BLO and Behlens ending with Ren wax and buff.

I too like that blank. I favor the natural colors and earth tones. Did you dye it yourself?

No I didn't dye it myself, although I want to start.
I think I will dye some box elder I just got not long
ago. I will post it when done, going to use natural
colors to accent the wood. Going to add a vacuum pump
to my HF PP to open up those pores in the wood. But I must
say that when I put 60 psi into my HF PP it sends Alumilite
past my tube ends that are pluged with cork and CA, weird.

So lots of pressure may not need vacuum, what think?

I had a piece of the blank dyed BEB from EM@BTW and it wasn't that light....the dye had penetrated more.
I like yours.
