Lou, great looking pen! I'll have to try some of that York Gum Burl, that's some pretty stuff. Do I need to ask what finish you used? []

The York gum burl is pretty solid stuff, but the afzelia was really open so I put on 2 (I think) coats of water-borne poly as a base, then top coated with TSW.
