Banksia type pen

This is a pen I am sending back to the man who sent me the pods. I managed to get two pens out of seven pods. With his permission I will post his address for other pen turners so they can contact him if they want a few of them.
The pod is dry and very brittle making it hard to drill. I used black embossing powder and thin CA for the infill.
Sorry for the pics a cell phone is all I have for now.

I like the look of the pen. It's openings are smaller then I am used to seeing. Opens up lots of possibilities for casting and filling.
