I like that one. Black is also and interesting color to use with Banksia pod. I made one a few years ago and used powdered anthracite and CA to fill the holes. While I really liked the end product, casting the color with acrylic sounds MUCH easier.

Hi, yes,Eugene did a nice job with the casting. It certainly made it a dream to turn. I only had to use c/a a couple of times where voids opened up. The wood part of the nut makes for some nice looking burl as well, Thanks all for your comments.
