Baby Blue freebie & Afzelia Cigar

The Sierra Elegant Beauty is another of Dawn's freebies -- Madreperlato Baby Blue blank reverse painted with Apple Barrel Neon Blue acrylic. I'm a big fan of these Madreperlato (Mother of Pearl) blanks -- the "shimmer" on opposite sides of the blank is really neat in my opinion.

Since my last two postings have been pink and baby blue - - I'll also post another recent favorite which is a bit more masculine --Hybrid Cigar with Afzelia Xylay from Arizona Silhouette finished with CA.

I really like the look of the blue one!
It really suits the kits plating.

The Afzelia cigar is a looker too!
The only thing i would change is to make the top a bit thicker. Lessen the taper to the bushing, looks more masculine that way.
Just my two cents...

The blue one is dreamy !! Like was already said, an excellent match with that kit!
The cigar is very nice too, and has helped me decide what one of my next pens will be! (just happen to have a couple cigar kits and some Afzelia burl)
It really helps me to see what other people are using for kit/blank combos. Thanks for posting!
