The other day I was looking at the end cap i made for a jr.gent and wondered if I could do a closed end like some of you do.Well I had left was a chrome/gunmetal classica.Shouldn't be too hard to do I only need a way to secure the transmission.5/16ths brass tubing made a tight press fit, much better than the endcap assembly.Drilled 3' deep with a 5/16" bit, pressed in a 1" length piece of tubing. Then redrilled it with a 27/64" bit for the body tube.Split the blank, damnit,oh wellI guess i get to try my hand at stabilizing a crack.Took care of that with plenty of CA inside and out.Turned, finished, and assembled. What do you think.

Best wishes,Dale
