Yup this is more Tru-stone from Richard
This Has to be hardest dang stuff I have ever turned and I turn some really hard things.
The Alt bands where not in the plan-----:eek:
Beware of this product----very hard.

Thanks folks ----we are getting ready for a big show and I am wanting to get several Tru-stone and stone pens done----they ain't setting the world on fire but I do sell them.

Gary, have you tried holding your grinder :devil:with 30 grit aginst it as it turns or you could use a:hammer: and chisel:rolleyes:.

Gary, I've still got some of the old stuff, a few species turn OK the Gaspeite, Charoite, Jet and Ivory turn so so, the rest are like turning rock.
