I must first start off saying that I haven't sold anything in a really long time. but I must also say that one thing I am enjoying more than anything is getting noticed.
last year I donated a pen for a friends day care fundraiser. I got an email today from a young lady that works with my son at his autism program. turns out her daughter is in the same daycare as a friend from last year and my name was on her contact sheet for donors. I was more than happy to donate again this year. I had originally planned on pulling a pen from my stock but that didn't feel right. so I got some time in the shop tonight and this is what I came up with.
a chrome atrax in cocobolo, wax finish. 2 aluminum bands in the base and one in the cap. the cap one is a 'V' shape. not sure what to call it but it turned out great. definitely playing around with that some more. this is also the first time I rounded a blank before drilling it. I like that too.
