Well, I finally was able to take a few pics of some pens that are at least acceptable (in my opinion of course). I know the photos aren't great, but I'm not well versed in photography, so this is about as good as I can get for a first crack...I'll have to keep working on it...

comments are always welcome (on the pens and pencils, not the photos, cuz I know they're not too great!)

Nice looking group of pens!
Good looking finish. You have been practicing.
It took some real arm twisting to get you to show off some of your work, but you finally did it. All I had to do was get your Dad involved. ;)
Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing it with us.

Thanks to all for the nice comments!! I'm very pleased with the outcome of this batch!!

As for the question on the wire burning...Normally, I burn before sanding, then sand then one more real light burn if needed (just to make sure the lines are dark), then I finish them...some are finished with CA, and some are finished with MM through 12000, EEE, then 3 coats of Behlan's woodturner's finish...
