Here's the first batch of pens I have to make for my upcoming wedding; some are gifts, some are for registry signing, etc...only about six more to make! :)

Sorry the pictures aren't better, but I'm focusing more on turning than on photography with the fast-approaching deadline...

Andrew

Thanks for the well-wishes - wedding's on August 1st, so it's coming really quickly!!

The statesman was my first ever jr gent series pen - i really like it! It's a very nice kit!

Sorry I didn't post the specs on those pens:

1st pen: White pearl resin from CSUSA, white paint on tube and inside blank, Jr Statesman
2nd: Redwood Burl on chrome streamline - really, really porous wood; needed a lot of thin CA
3rd: inlace acrylester - ocean, or earth somethingorother...
4th: Amboyna Burl on Jr Gent - wood came from Docstram a LONG while back
5th: Hawaiian Mango (bought from Kalai a long while back too) Sierra

All the finishes on the wood pens is done with CA/BLO in my own weird little method! :) The plastics were polished wet with micromesh...

I think they turned out quite nicely, though - it's a shame I have to give them away - I'd like to keep some of these! :)
