In order; Red mallee burl, bloodwood, aromatic cedar, and B olive wood.

After making these I discovered that I can't stand the gold finish.

Finished wood with CA glue and Rennaisance wax.

Maybe I should get a better camera than Dad's iphone...

heh, time to admit...

Thanks all! These are actually my first built patriots. :tongue: In all honesty Laurenr, I don't know why the contour happens. Whenever I turn a pen, I have to put a full concentration on making the same shape as the picture or else it looks like, well... that. I don't really mind most of the time. But sometimes it gets to me. Normally I just attribute it to subconsciously making a pen that will suit me.
