Many thanks to Jaeger for sharing his awesome CA finish technique, and to Jgrden for letting me know it exists (Jaeger's finish, that is).

Also many thanks to my "Quasi secret" burl cutoff supplier. You know who you are!!

Keep your eyes out for the next few! They will be different species yet again.

Very cool. I love the Aspen burl. The finish looks good to me, but the technique still doesn't make sense to me... Wax under CA? Even if I don't understand why it works, it works. Nicely done.

Beautiful pen with great contrast between resin and wood. I've never heard of that technique but the finish on the pen looks great.

I substituted the EEE step for 12K micromesh followed by a spin on the tripoli buffing wheel, then the BLO and CA.

And i agree, the Aspen burl is some nice stuff to work with!

Fine looking pen, fit and finish is outstanding, but, I really like the map of the universe in the blue PR next to the burl, a beautiful statement, Earth and Sky in one pen. WOW!
