Asain Ebony Crotch Silver Baron-Better pics

I had to make time yesterday to get this pen made.
Just could not stand it so I missed lunch and worked over a little to get it done.
The wood is Asain Ebony--it is a crotch cut piece of wood. Give it a real nice swirl with colors.
The kit is The Silver Baron----outstanding kit.
Hope the pics are alright it is the best my old camera will do.

A little hard to see enough detail to really appreciate what must be a beautiful pen. Still the grain gives a hint and the overall shape is one I like.

Congratulations on your determination and accomplishment!

P.S. Try cropping the picture a little more so the image can stay larger and clearer. I think it's the compression to stay under 650 pixels wide that's causing the problem.

The photo is a little fuzzy to me---but, from what I can tell---that is a very nice pen with a wonderful looking piece of wood!!! Nice work!!!

I can't tell much about it from the photo, but it looks like a nice job.

Lou ---TWO coats of TSW for the final finish
I wipe it on ---let it sit and buff it off---them repeat.
When I buff---it's more of a gentle kinda buff.
Not really a high friction thing.
I want that to take at least 15 minutes.
The pen is so dark---I might try sunlight and see how it does.
