I was making a few artist pencils last night in prep for my coming show, thought I'd share a few pictures.

Sure does George... That buck eye is one of the ones you saw in that box we cracked open in Phoenix.....it sure has pretty eyes!!

I find it very interesting that these are "artist" pencils, and the Buck Eye looks ALOT like "Starry Night" by Van Gogh.

Very pretty. I really like how dyed box elder looks, but have a soft spot for the natural colors in buckeye.

Thanks Warren, That was my exact thought when I finished this one pencil, I am glad it came across that way in the picture.

Thanks Every One for your kind feedback. I enjoy making these with a long figured blank that says all it needs to say...and they sell fairly quickly too....and I like that![8D]
