Wow!, is all I have to say. This wood is so hard that it didn't need a finish. I sanded it with all the micromesh grits just for fun and and natural sheen was awesome. I hit it with some friction polish just to make it shine a bit more. The photo doesn't show it, but it looks almost like there's a CA finish on it but there isn't.
