Apprentice Classica and purpleheart segmenting

I made the sister to the kit that I ruined yesterday this evening.

I thought I got a nice finish before, but with the micromesh I picked up, I get a whole new kind of shine. The fit just isn't what I want it to be yet, but it is getting better.

The maple/purpleheart slimline is a perfect example of why I am wanting to turn between centers. I really like the segments, but not the fit.
