I have been turning pens for a few months and watching this forum learning quite a bit. This is my first pen I feel may be worthy of sharing here.

Honduran rosewood. Thin CA finish polished with HUT. I would appreciate comments and tips.

Very Nice Pen, Evan,
It is a shame that the Photograph is so dark, that the Finer Points of your Turning cannot be seen, as the Outline of your Pen is lost in the Dark Background.
IMHO, It would have been better on a White or Light Background.
What I can see I Like.
Congratulations,
Brian.

I like the pen. I like the wood. I wonder what it would look like with CA/BLO, or is that what you tried? That wood needs to be brought out with depth and shine. I t a beautiful wood.
Congratulations i am waiting for your next picture.

I used 6 coats of thin CA and then polished with HUT crystal coat. I am very pleased with the results. The CA really showcases the wood and the crystal coat polishes away any minor imperfections. Thanks for your comment!
