Dan are they as heavy as they have been reportedly seemed, does the extra metal make them alot heavier than a regular Churchill??

This pen is quite heavy. I have never turned a Churchill pen, so I cannot compare. The problems reported on this site with the Churchil penm have scared me away from the kit.
The pen posts fine, but I think PSI made these with a single start thread. The cap has to be in just the right position to screw it on. Same with the post.
Painting tubes: I am aware of the problem, but have still not found a paint system that works for me. Still working on it.
