I had some elk antler that was mostly marrow and was not sure to turn it or not ???? Well after a lot of CA, fill/sand, fill/sand, fill/sand.... You get the idea... I like it...

I really like the look of a little marrow in an antler pen.

I harvest my own antler turning stock and I only shoot larger bucks so I generally have a lot of marrow in my turnings.

I find myself measuring the deer in the scope to see just exactly how many pens I can get out of his rack. If I can get 4 or more then I drop him.

Great looking pen!!!! Is it time to resupply your CA after that one??? Really like the color...must be a fresh antler to have that much color still in it.

Yes, will have to hit Monty up for more CA... I got the antler at an estate sale and was told it was 30 plus years old. The color is all natural.... Was going to keep it but, will go on the sale rack at the art gallery. Will bump the price up for my work. [:D]
