Antler Cigar

[Ken Massingale]

This is my first antler pen. It is from the antler that Johnny Wooten has.
The smell wasn't as bad as I expected, but still a 'window opener'.
The two pics are the same pen, different sides. I filled and sealed with thin CA, sanded through MM 12k, and finished with 4 thin coats of Behlens Woodturners Finish, and of course, TSW.The scanned pic is not good, I gotta build a light box.[B)]

Ken, nice job on the pen! Is the color off a little or is there a bit of red in the pen?

Thanks R.T. There is a quite a lot of red in it. It fades in from the white, darker into the black areas.
