I got this acrylic maybe 6 or 7 years ago from PSI. They called it "Eurorod" and this is the "Green Mix." I call it "Antique Roses." They had maybe a half dozen different colors. If anyone still has any of this hanging around, please sell it to me. I never realized how pretty it is, and now of course it's long gone.

Anyway, a customer saw the one other pen I'd made with it and ordered his as a bulb filler with a two-tone, 1.1 smooth italic. This is a little on the short side, but feels and writes very well.

Section diameter 13 mm

Cap/barrel threads 14x.8
Section/barrel threads 10x1

Nicely photo'd and well done in every detail!

As to you saying it's a little 'short', well can't help too much there....I like short!

Robert, your pens are always so nicely shaped and so perfectly shiny! Do you have any special techniques for achieving such a flawless surface? Any that you might not mind sharing?

Wish I could help, but I can not.
That is a very nice pen. The color is special.
Great turn and finish.

Will done very nice photos and the pen is outstanding job thanks for sharing.

I like everything about this pen Awesome work Rob!

Thanks to all! Appreciate the positive comments.

Thanks! My finishing techniques are just like everyone else's. Micromesh and Hut Plastic Polish. The pen looks so shiney because the photos show the reflections of the lights over my bench.

It's a beauty Robert! Can I ask what you're using to seal the ink sac?

Great blank, superb pen, marvellous threads, fantastic finish.
Regards,
John

Beautiful pen and great job!

Thanks, everyone!

Jonathan, I was using shellac, but I had some failures and decided it was better to be safe than sorry. I now use epoxy and I actually thread the tenon the sac fits over to give the adhesive plenty to hang on to. I've had no problem cutting off the sac and replacing it when I need to.
