Antique pen holder reborn

:bananen_smilies008:I have shown this pen before so I won't go into details on it. What I want to show is the pen holder I restored for it. I bought it at an antique shop here in town. It had the old Victorian velvet pad on it and was in bad shape. I gold guilded the base after wire brushing, and recovered the pad with matching Japanese Paper. The holder was painted Chinese Red, and the brass polished. I always thought a pen holder was a unique way of showing off a special pen that's not for everyday use. Better than sitting in your pocket, purse or some drawer. Merry Christmas !! Jim S
