Had someone order this one from my website. His initials are MMM, and he also drives a BMW, so he asked if I could do the M3 logo on it for him. Luckily I've got a good friend with a CNC laser, and he's done other work for me.

This is what we ended up with. CA finish. Sanded through 12000 micromesh and finished with Hut Ultra Gloss plastic polish.

Really like the look of that Antique Bronze GT on that wood. The finish looks real good also - might have to dig out my old bottle of Hut's and give it a try again...

Thank you, Tony. I do think this is the best one I've done so far. There are a couple of imperfections in the finish from not leveling quite enough with the 1000 grit before polishing up with the Micromesh, but I'm still really happy with it.

Really like the look of that Antique Bronze GT on that wood. The finish looks real good also - might have to dig out my old bottle of Hut's and give it a try again...

Thank you, Roy. Yeah, the pau ferro was an off-cut from a piece I used for a couple of fretboards. Glad I kept it around :biggrin:
