This is a good "simple" project pen. The kit is $17.95, and the blanks are now $20+. You can get two pens out of one blank. The final pen weighs 50g/1.7 oz. - on the "substantial" side. Selling in the $40-45 range. Turned between centers, wet sand 400 grit Abranet, wet sand 1500-12,000 micromesh, finish polish with PlastX. Uses 3/8" brass tube. The fit between the tube and the kit was extremely tight - I think the plating process must be adding some thickness, as the two Antique Brass & Pewter kits I assembled had the same issue.

Nice Looking Pen. I had looked at that kit previously and it is always shown with a rounded (pregnant?) barrel. I like it much more the way you shaped it.
