Another wedding pen - and a first pen box

This is my first wedding pen, and my first attempt at a self-made pen box.

The pen is a Gold Ti Junior Gent with Exotic Blanks White Pearl Acrylic. Engraving by Stan Cook.

Suggestions on joinery and fit of the box are welcome.

That's a great Wedding Pen. Very Elegant. Nicely Done..

Well Tony the pen looks great and the engraving is classy which the box takes that away. I don't care for boxes like that. It is basically a block of wood with a routed area for the pen to sit. Take a look at some of the store bought boxes and see how the pen sits on a velour or felt cradle. A nice grained wood to enhance it and I love those ones with the plastic windows in them. That is my 2¢.
