This one is for a friend of mine, who is a deputy sheriff. The kit is a venerable Executive in gun metal. The blank is a Rhino Blank called "Diggin' For Gold", and it is spectacular! There are spots that change from gold to silver as you turn it in your hands. The blue is the same 0.10" pickguard that I used before.

I glued it up the same way I did the first two Thin Blue Line pens I made, using the same CA glue. But this one popped apart when I was drilling it. So I glued it back together with two-part epoxy, putting the tube in it for alignment. I didn't know if it would work, but it did. I was happy about that!

Like the first two, this blank looked pretty dicey after trimming it. But like before, it turned and polished great.

This is another winner, if I do say so myself!
