I'm just having too much fun with this acrylic. It's extremely addictive.

I got this Rhino Plastics Emerald City Green from Ed at Exotic blanks, and put it on a Fancy Slimline Gold Tn w/ comfort band late Saturday night, and have been looking at it, writing with it, and admiring it ever since.

Oh, it's not perfect, I won't use green paint under it next time. It deadened the color too much. Probably use a light blue or white. And I'll definitely reverse paint the blank too, because I can see (even if no one else can) the spot on the tube that's missing a little glue.

And I'll use Johnny CNC's bushings next time instead of trusting the mandrel...

Still learnin'...

The pen looks nice. Good choice for the kit with the blank. I turned a few rhino plastic blanks this past saturday and liked everything about them....and, a nice selection of colors.
Do a good turn daily!

Personally, I like the slightly larger size of the comfort pens over the slimlines. And that's a great looking blank you paired up with it!
