That is a gorgeous pen!!

Here is my .02 on how to improve the photo:

  1. Have the pen angled so that the tip is on the left and slightly lower than the finial. Kind like a standard writing position for a right handed user.
  2. Your stand should never compete with your pen for attention of the viewer. Go with something much simpler.
  3. It looks like your lighting is still a bit yellow. You could try using a piece of white paper to set your camera's custom white balance (presuming it has that ability) before shooting the picture of the pen.
  4. Personally I would have the crystal coming towards us like it was hanging down. You can use a single-LED flashlight to make the crystal sparkle.
Give that a try and I think you will be happier with the result. Even just #1 and #2 will make a big difference.
