This is the second of these I have done and I am far happier with this one. The segments are far more precise and square. Again I have used one of my own cast polyester resin pen blanks and the aluminium from a HDD platter.
Thanks for looking, C&Cs welcome.

Is this going to be your trademark? LOOKS GREAT! NICE.

It's just a look that I have liked for ages and wanted to try. Brad Gothard does a similar design with his anodised pens and I really like them. I am having a few issues with precision but I will keep playing with the concept and try a few different designs before I get fed up and move on to something else.
Thanks for you kind comments.

Very nice Eric. I also agree that the thickness of the aluminium is appealing.

Thanks for sharing. All looks very tight and precise.

Nice work. Brad does offer some great inspiration. What is an HDD platter?

Hi Steve, thanks for the kind comments. An HDD platter is the disc inside a computer hard drive where data is written to. Whenever I have an old HDD I strip it for the very strong magnets and the platters that are inside.
