This is another Aero kit. The blank is a homemade one consisting of Red PR with a little pearl-x and yellow plastic BB's. It was a total challenge to turn. The BB's wanted to pop out. I ended up taking the last 1/4" down with 80 grit sandpaper. Time and patience. It's finished with 6 coats of med. CA

I liked your pen AND your method. With people trying to produce a pen as fast, as simple or as little work as possible, it is good to see those who further their skills by using the creative juices to overcome the problems. Sanding down the blank instead of "turning" to preserve the blank says a lot.

The discovery "process" is as important as the finished product - to achieve great pens constantly.

Great Pen!

I like your moniker. I lived in Toyota City for 7 years form 2004 - 2010.
