This is the same stuff as the last pen I posted. I just drilled through dead center of the branch as opposed to off-center like the last pen. Encountered a few problems with it still being green, but I got them mostly worked out. I really, really like the way the kit works for the pen as well as it does, and if I hadn't had to re-do the finish due to severe hazing, I would have had a much better fit. Still learning a LOT. Next time I re-do a finish from the base, I'll either use less coats or spend more time on the micromesh.
