Well the soapstone went sorta okie dokie so I decided to give Alabaster a try.
This is the result. Actually not as difficult as the soapstone. That may have been because of the bit of experience I got with the soapstone.
Nevertheless here it is. C & C welcome. Thanks for looking.

Looks like you had a little fracturing on the barrel ends Perry. Beautiful job on the nice curve and finishing!! My first soap stone did that to me as well. Sand out the barrel ends so it's a slip fit rather than a press fit then glue that bugger in place...whatever glue you like...well, maybe not Elmers!
