These are two pens. The first is a Woodcraft European in Satin Pearl with Mahogony. The second is a PSI Two-Tone Big Ben with Olive wood. I didn't think I would like the European. But this being my third one, I think I really like this style.

I am starting with 3 coats of thin CA, followed by 8 coats of medium. Wet sand with PSI color coded sanding pads. And finish with 1 or 2 passes with PSI One-Step finish. I think the trick for me is the first sanding with the yellow pad. I use a magnifying glass to look for low spots. Once it is completely smooth I move on through the rest of the colors. Low spots will show up as darker lines in the finish.
