This pen, made at the request of a customer, is a reprise of the one I made last November. I really like these Duofold styles with pickguard and jewels inlaid into the cap and barrel finials. The customer ordered it with a 1.1 smooth italic Meisternib, and I want to tell you, these nibs are really nice. Hard to believe they're italics.

Length capped 5 1/2" (139 mm)
Length uncapped 5 1/4 (134 mm)
Length posted 6 3/8" (162 mm)

Barrel diameter 14.5 mm
Cap diameter 16 mm
Section diameter 12.8 mm

Weight 25 g

I had to look three times to make sure it wasn't a restored Duofold! The "upgrade" clip and the embellished cap told me its one of a kind!

Excellent eye for keeping it close to the classic, while bringing it to the 21st Century. And I totally agree! The JoWo Italic nib is a great write!

Excellent artistry. Well executed!

Never been a big fan of the Deltas, but you make those colors look fantastic!!! The more I look at your pen, the more I like it!!!!

If you don't mind me asking, how did you secure the trim ring? If it's proprietary, I understand.

Thanks again Andy. The trim ring is just a sterling band (size 3 or 4 I think) from an eBay supplier. I just made a shoulder above the threads for it to sit against and slid it on. A little 5 minute epoxy holds it there.

Hats off to you Robert. The pick guard is a great accent. You are really showing your talent with this one. Nice work.

Thanks Chuck. Yep, that pickguard makes a great accent. Became fond of it when I did some segmenting over a year ago.

Excellent workmanship!

Thanks Jan.

Robert does it again--another great creation!

Thanks Turnem.

Awesome indeed!

Thanks Mark.

Just beautiful Robert.

Thanks Mike.
