I liked the Mars blank so much, I used the left over piece to make this 30.06 Fun line copper accent pen for a friend that is a fellow Range Master where I work. I had to split it in half and glue it back together end to end to make it long enough, being careful to alien the book ends. Any comments or thoughts are welcome.
Max.

Wood working term (book ends) when you split wood the two halves that was split now look alike, so if you alien them end to end you get a long pattern (like mine) if you put them side by side you get a repeating pattern. I made some gun grips, and I would split the block and turn it outwards so that I would have the same pattern on both sides of the gun. Such as book ends on a book shelf look alike.
