Although, not the most exciting grain, this Kauri from New Zealand is an awsome wood to turn, it reallly does turn like butter. It has an exciting "glow" about it when you turn it in the light, even better for the customer it is certified, making it easy to sell and get top $ for.

I have a couple of pens from this wood with the Waterlox curing. It is intriguing to work with something this ancient. Nice job.

Very nice looking pen Glenn. I also love the certificate. This should, as you say, increase the price of the pen.
