Beautiful piece of two tone Amboyna that I bought from a guy a few years back. I haven't wanted to turn it for a while, but sooner or later you gotta do something with it. I cracked the CA putting it together!

Two-tone Amboyna is a great timber. Wish the 'market' for it would 'calm down' so the prices would return to normal...but that is another completely different topic(rambling over).


Nice shine to the turning! Looks like letting it sit for awhile gave you the 'touch' to put it to good use.
