This was a gorgeous blank with remarkable depth and glisten. It's from Exotic Blanks, and I'd recommend trying it.

We call it "Burgundy", but I am open to changing the name, if it is that "purple--y" when it becomes a pen!!

Did you paint the tubes, to influence the color??

NICE looking pen, no matter WHAT we call the color!!

No tubes on this one. The cap is a little thinner than the barrel, and is a little translucent if you hold it up to a strong light.

IMHO, it's really purple when turned down, not quite dark red enough to be a true burgundy. Of course, that could be the particular blank or my ancient particular eyes!

Nice look and I am surprised at the opacity--you tied in your black sections really well---Just a great look--again, thanks for showing!! Maybe we can get you to add it to our gallery?!?!?!?!
