Looks like you got some spalting there. Box Elder can be very nice, and Box Elder Burl is really great. The pens look good. You did a nice job with the shape which can be pretty boring on these kits.

Great job, Try an americana Bullet tip pen from CSUSA they are beautiful. Box elder is my favorite
