Great looking pen Mark. I have no idea what any of the photo stuff means but I love the pen and the pic looks very clean. Can you give us an idea how you finished this? i'm always looking for a good looking, reliable matte/soft finish.

Hey Dan,

Most of the wood pens I use ca finish, usually 3-8 coats of thin ca. Sometimes I I just Sand to 12k micro mesh without ca. Some types of wood I'm able to not have to use ca to get the results I want. This particular pen I wanted to keep the natural color tone and avoid darkening the wood so no ca was applied. Thin cuts using sharp skew and go straight to 600 and then micromesh and finally apply ren wax and buff.
