Amboyna Jr. Gent. heartwood/Sapwood

I never get tired of the effect of the heartwood twisting with the sapwood. I do, however, get tired of how bloody difficult it is to turn Amboyna especially when making a sapwood/heartwood pen.

Again though, what a dazzling effect it creates. This one was commissioned by an attorney in San Francisco. I think if he doesn't like it, I'll buy it back.

Nice pen, great piece of Amboyna, and a drop dead gorgeous finish, but the kit looks like a Jr. Retro.
