I have tried a new way to finish the pen and I am pretty happy with it. I sanded to 800 grit then 0000 steel wool. I then put on 2 coats of sanding sealer smoothed it with the 0000steel wool then 10 coats of thin CA, finished with MM 1500 to 12000, then one step polish and RW.
