Amboyna burl Sedona Calligraphy pen

Here are some pictures of an Amboyna burl Sedona calligraphy pen that I made my wife for her birthday which was yesterday. Other than a slimlines, I am fairly new to the sport of pen turning so go easy on me [B)] I am not much of a photographer as either as these pictures will attest to [B)] The blank is finished with lacquer using a special top secret method that I dare not disclose for fear of losing my life [}]

I want to say a special thanks to Lou (DCBluesman) for all the help and advice he gave me behind the scenes in both the selecting of the pen kit and helping me with the finishing of the blank. I'm not so sure I could have done this without him.

My wife seemed to really love this pen and it is by far my best work yet.
