Amboyna Burl Majestic

Amboyna is probably one of my favorite burls because of the color and character of it. When I originally turned this pen, I used a friction polish that only lasted a few days. Later, when I discovered the CA finish, I disassembled it and put the CA on. I have really become a fan of the CA finish because of the long-lasting high-gloss shine it gives.

Any comments, tips, or advice is appreciated.

Beautiful job! You did well to refinish it also. If you are new to a CA finish, there are several threads in the past few days that have MANY great opinions and thoughts. All of which are great to read and ponder.

But, your pen looks great - I also love Amboyna!
