Amboyna Burl Fire Engine pen

First I would like thank Larry who posted one of these recently. I didn't even know this pen kit existed. I showed a friend what it looked like and he immediately wanted one for his father for Christmas.

So I used Amboyna Burl and put it in the display case yesterday. I hope his father likes it.

My thanks to Larry as well for showing this pen as well. Mine just arrived yesterday. Spent all day shoveling snow for family and friends so it's waiting.

Did you have any issues with it that one should be aware of?
