My latest pen for a customer. Prime Grade Amboyna Burl with 1/2" of Wenge at the nib. Finished with CA/Blo. Please let me know what you think about the pen and photo.

I'm not a big european pen fan, but I like this one! The finish looks good to me as well. Nice photo to boot!

Photo and pen look good.
My only comment is i think the Amboyna is pretty enough to stand on its own. I may not have adding the wenge.

The wenge was at the request of the customer, I didn't want to do it, but he is paying for it so he gets what he wants.

How doese the Wenge feel. What did you use to seal the pores of the Wenge?

The wenge feels a smooth as the rest of the pen (like glass [
]) I used thin CA and 400 grit paper to fill all the pores of the wenge and the amboyna, it was a little tricky keeping the two woods separate but wasn't too bad. After that dried I sanded it all off only leaving the CA/dust in the pores but the surface clean. Then I continued with the CA finish.
