I told our Real Estate Agent I would make him a pen , AND have it engraved with his name and his company on it , if / when he sells the house . Nothing fancy , just a decent Amboyna Burl on a Black Ti Cigar . Hope this helps ! Thanks for looking !

If the wood ID is correct...I'll call it Narra, which coincidentally is the national tree of my native country. Very nice wood and probably one of the best especially for furniture.

FYI, Narra burl is called amboyna.

We all have our "tolerances" on what to call a burl. I have my standards but definitely don't want to impose that to you or anyone else. Just sharing my thoughts.

It's close .. the wood you used might have been 1 or 2 inches outside of
the burl area.. but it is definitely from the same tree.

I've got a slice of amboyna/narra in the shop. Part of it looks like your pen
and then the burl area looks like the amboyna we all know and love.

Either one is very nice. (your pen shows this!) The nice part about using the
part close to the burl is that even the relatively plain grain can take a few
turns within the length of the pen.

Real Estate sales are up 9.7% over last month. You'd better contact your engraver.
