Amboyna Burl on Cambridge

I started out the morning by making and posting a Cambridge Pen with a Malachite Tru-Stone cap and an Amboyna Burl body. Basically, the malachite and amboyna clashed...badly.... As was suggested, I "divided" the pen to make two pens by making a matching Amboyna Burl Cap and a Malachite Tru-Stone body. Just got back from the shop with the Amboyna Burl cap and pen done. Have to wait on finishing the Malachite until I get a new kit from Woodcraft. Thanks to all for your feedback! Have a great Sunday. Doc

Stunning pen, Doc. As for your crash...I always order extra tubes. I don't trust myself sometimes.

I like the new pen too Doc. I ordered my first Amboyna yesterday. So will be fun to try it out. You did such a great job on re-working that one.
