Alton, it seems to be a nice looking pen, but the sea urchin is the focal point of the photo. I think the pen is worthy of a photo that makes it the center of attention.

I agree loose the sea urchin so we can see the pen. The pen looks real nice one of my favorites to turn.

I redid the photo without the Urchin. I had to build a cube about a foot square to get the light I wanted.

I've got some lights you can try. They're daylight balanced so it helps.
Give me a holler and we'll get together. You can pick them up and raid
